WHAT IS THE
STAFFORDSHIRE BLACK BUSINESS NETWORK?
How We Help
Staffordshire Black Business Network is a support network that acts as a voice of minority Black owned businesses in the Staffordshire area. We have a vision of fostering and maintaining economic growth and development of the Black businesses in Staffordshire and working collaboratively with other organisations to help create a positive environment for businesses in the Staffordshire area.
We believe that we can collectively build sustainable and resilient businesses, and that our resilience can be fostered with the help and support of a community.
Our key objectives include:

Collating information and discussing issues relating to black owned businesses in the Staffordshire area.

Representing black business owners at a strategic level.

Providing useful business information and guidance to all businesses irrespective of ethnicity.

Being a focal point of reference of interactions between black owned businesses in Staffordshire.

Hosting business workshops/network meetings/conferences and social events.

Liaising with Council Economic Development Teams in matters related to business development.

Engaging with other Forum inside and outside Staffordshire in the interest of business.
SBBN helps bridge information, security, financial, economic, political, and educational institutional voids. It has also helped several members secure grant funding and provided expertise regarding business expansion and growth. In addition, we provide mentorship to business owners and help with networking, information sharing, and business development opportunities.
MEETINGS:
Staffordshire Black Business Network meets on the last Wednesday of every month. You can contact any of the board members below to add discussion items to the meeting.
